The mighty Boston Bruins will skate into Xcel Energy Center tonight to take on the tenacious Minnesota Wild who are four and one at home! The Wild have always been a team that is typically stronger in front of its hometown crowd.
Boston will not be an easy team to beat however and the Wild will need more than the chants of the crowd to score goals. Boston is coming off of a two to nothing victory over the Colorado Avalanche in Denver, with a three day break before making the trek to Minnesota.
That victory gave Boston its tenth on the season while the Wild sit with eight total wins so far this season. The game may come down to a goalie show as both the Wild’s Devan Dubnyk and Bruin’s Tukka Rask will star in between the pipes for their respected teams. Both goalies have been battling each other for the top goalie spot in the NHL stats-wise.
The Wild and Bruins have already met each other once this season, a couple weeks ago in Boston where the Wild left with a five to zero win. Boston was without several key players at that time so the Wild will have to have their top game going tonight because Boston will be out for blood.
The game is set for 7pm tonight at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. The Wild are coming back off a one to nothing loss against Calgary and will be looking to the crowd for more support at they face the Bruins.
Hoping to start doing game previews and recaps…thanks for reading!!! Go Wild!
