New Year, New Things

Well, it has been quite some time since I’ve blogged. I’ve been working nearly 24/7 which is great but also very tiring. Thankfully work is slowing down a little now so I’ll hopefully have more time to write. There are lots of new things in my world, Jesse and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary, I bleached my hair, we just got a kitten (sadly Snickers passed away at the beginning of December, but she lived a long life, I miss her greatly but she is no longer suffering). On a higher note, I passed all of my classes for this semester and plan to graduate in May!

I also got to go to the Wild game against the Pittsburgh Penguins and had a lower level ticket! It was a blast! I finally got to see Sidney Crosby up close… well closer than the last time! It was a great way to start my birthday! New Years was awesome other than me getting a bruise on my hip from sledding.

Switching from myself to the Wild, they aren’t doing too bad. They have been struggling but also doing well. Tonight they lost in a shootout to the Tampa Bay Lightning. Charlie Coyle had a beautiful no-look backhand goal to tie the game prior to the overtime. The Wild currently sit 5th in the conference and 4th in the division, so they aren’t doing too bad for themselves other than a few losses here and there. The game against the Penguins they could have done better but I feel it was an off night because of all the holiday events going on. I can understand the players not being fully engulfed in the game scenario right after Christmas. In my opinion the players should get more time off than they do so they can go and see family.

I’m going to keep this blog a little shorter because it is rather late and I’m not sure what to type right now hahaha. Hopefully more of a Wild outlook tomorrow however I will be at work when they play. Thanks for reading and as always.
